So Satan reads!

 This is Satan talking to Jesus.  Matthew 4:6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.  You know, Satan is not too bright. This says that he has read what was written.  You would think he would know better then to tempt Jesus. If he has read what is written, then he knows he is wasting his time. This should make Christians ask themselves, why would Satan try this when he already knows what is going to happen. Unless, Satan has no free will. 

The Bible is supposedly a book of prophecy. Prophecy is the foretelling of future events. The foretelling of ones destiny. There can be no free will when events are known in advance.  I'm always told that it is God's will. Wouldn't that mean, if you are a Christian, that everything is God's choice?

Healer?

Matthew 4:11 Then the Devil leaveth him, and, behold Angels came and ministered unto him.  Maybe I'm wrong here, but isn't Jesus able to heal people?  Why would he only have powers at certain times.  I would not think he would need ministered unto by Angels.  Are the Angels more powerful then Jesus?  If you are a believer, read this a few times, and REALLY think about it.  After a while, if you fight the programing, it all becomes crystal clear.

You Are All Doomed

Matthew 4:4 "It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God"  I don't mean to bum you all out,  but did you just read what Jesus said.  I just want to add that you are all DOOMED! You are about to learn why,  as you hear what proceedeth out of the mouth of god.  Good Luck. : )

Tempt The Creator Of All Things?

Now I'm no Theologian and I don't belong to Mensa, but I'm smart enough to know foolishness when I read it. Matthew 4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. How, I ask you, can an OMNISCIENT, OMNIPOTENT CREATOR OF ALL THINGS, ALL THINGS, be tempted by anything? This is so silly. "Look God, I'll give you all the stuff you created, if you follow me." "Well Satan, that is really tempting, but I could simply make you disappear if I wanted to, but then your offering of my stuff is very appealing to me." Things that make you go, HMM?

What Trinity?

Matthew 3:15 16 17 "And Jesus answering said, suffer it to be so now for thus it becometh US to fulfill all righteousness.  Then he suffered him and Jesus, when baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and lo, the heavens were opened unto him and he saw the spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him and lo a voice from Heaven, saying, this is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased" US? I know what 1st John says about them all being one, but what I don't understand, is why does God consistently talk to himself, and why if they were one, would he say, It becometh US? I find it more then a little odd that he told everyone that he was pleased with HIMSELF. Obviously an egomaniac and a great ventriloquist. : )

Make Up Thou Mind

Matthew 2:20 " Saying, arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child's life" This was told to them by the Angel of the Lord. Matthew 2:22 "But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: not withstanding, being warned of god in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee" Well this is truly odd. The Angel of the Lord said it was safe to go to Israel, but then God warned Joseph in a dream that it was not safe. I thought God was OMNISCIENT. Or could it be that his Angel was out to get Jesus, but then, God, would have known that because he is OMNISCIENT! One seriously indecisive God, who seems to know VERY little of what is going on for an OMNISCIENT being.

Now Think On This

Matthew 1:22:23 "Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the lord by the prophet, saying behold a virgin shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel which being interpreted is, god with us" Wait! The Angel said nothing of naming the child Emmanuel. The Angel said to name the child Jesus. I don't think this is the same child that the prophet is talking about. This all makes sense now! Emmanuel and Jesus are two different people. How could they make such a mistake. E M M A N U E L VS. J E S U S . Emmanuel means : God is with us. Jesus Means : Son of God. This has all been a terrible misunderstanding. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A GUY NAMED EMMANUEL. My gosh, The names could at least rhyme like they do with Nostradameus. Imagine how this poor Emmanuel must feel.

You Shall Call Him ?

St. Matthew 1:21 " And you shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins. Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God is with us" Okay, forget the fact that the Holy Spirit/God impregnated a woman with himself. God can't seem to make up his mind what his name should be. Is it, Jesus Emmanuel Christ God Holy Spirit Jehovah etc. etc. He is the most indecisive omniscient God I know of. Pick a name! Your dealing with people who think the world is flat. shssh!

Begat's Bewrong!

St. Matthew 1:16 says, " And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ" Back the truck up! I thought God was the daddy? What does it matter if Joseph was descended from David if he isn't the legitimate father. Why doesn't it mention who Mary was descended from. This is the first error in the New Testament and one that has been VERY creatively justified.
