Tempt The Creator Of All Things?

Now I'm no Theologian and I don't belong to Mensa, but I'm smart enough to know foolishness when I read it. Matthew 4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. How, I ask you, can an OMNISCIENT, OMNIPOTENT CREATOR OF ALL THINGS, ALL THINGS, be tempted by anything? This is so silly. "Look God, I'll give you all the stuff you created, if you follow me." "Well Satan, that is really tempting, but I could simply make you disappear if I wanted to, but then your offering of my stuff is very appealing to me." Things that make you go, HMM?

    There's no point in trying to read trinitarian concepts into the bible. It wasn't invented until the second century. :-)

    lol, I'll tell you why...because he was just a man, probably no differnt than David Koresh if he lived at all. I read somewhere that there were dozens of so called "messiahs" running about the place in the first century...christianity is just the cult that won!
